Lancs eye t20 title

LANCASHIRE fans will be hoping for a full day’s entertainment as the Friends Life t20 competition reaches an exciting conclusion at Edgbaston tomorrow.
The Red Rose county get the day’s action under way at 11am when they take on Leicestershire in the opening semi-final.
Hampshire, the holders, meet Somerset in the second last-four clash at 2.30pm. The final is scheduled to start at 6.45pm.
Lancashire, who have yet to win the t20 title, are one of the form teams in the country.
They are riding high in Division One of the LV= County Championship and victory in Birmingham could be the start of a glorious end to the summer for Glen Chapple’s side.
