MANCHESTER City’s 1-0 victory at Wigan last night was not pretty, but getting three points was all that mattered, so it was mission accomplished.
We dug deep and everyone put in a shift. Joe Hart was star man after a couple of great saves but Gareth Barry probably ran him a close second.
He is an unsung hero, probably because the things he does on the pitch are not usually flash, but he has attributes in every department.
Our next opponents, Tottenham, are on a fantastic run of form and are in the thick of the title race despite only drawing at home to Wolves at the weekend.
But I do not see it as a three-horse race between ourselves, Spurs and United.
There are 18 games remaining, which is only just short of half-a-season, so there are plenty of twists and turns to come.
