Sinfield geared up for 400th Rhinos match

OLDHAM-born Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield is preparing for another mammoth season ahead of tomorrow’s opening Stobart Super League match against Hull KR, the 400th of his Rhinos career.
The Rhinos captain played every week of the 2011 campaign which took his match tally to a remarkable 42, comprising 36 for Leeds as they reached both Wembley and the Grand Final and six for England.
Sinfield's last match was the Four Nations final in November but he insists he is ready to go around again as Leeds prepare to launch the defence of their title.
"I would love to play another 42," said Sinfield at the Super League launch at Old Trafford.
"That's the best part of the job for me, the more the better.
“I had a decent holiday and a couple of weeks off before Christmas.
"I've had a good six weeks of training and I feel good. I'm the type of person who can't keep still for too long.
“If they had said you need to have more time off, I would have struggled.”
