The City kit boss and former latics star writes every week for Chron Sport
MANCHESTER City’s 3-0 home victory over Fulham in the Barclays Premier League was about as straightforward as it gets.
Edin Dzeko’s well-taken strike complemented Sergio Aguero’s early penalty and a Chris Baird own goal, and it should work wonders for the Bosnian’s confidence.
As you can imagine I had plenty of requests from the players for hats and gloves as the temperature plummeted and the snow came down quite heavily at the Etihad Stadium.
We are now two points clear of United, who recovered from 3-0 down to earn a 3-3 draw at Chelsea.
Our next three league games are away to Aston Villa, which is on Sunday, followed by home matches against North-West duo Blackburn and Bolton.
With United due to entertain Liverpool and travel to Tottenham in the coming weeks, hopefully we can gain maximum points to put pressure on the Reds.
However, as every week goes by, it becomes more likely that the Manchester derby in April will be a title decider.
Richard Dunne, now at Villa, was a tremendous captain for this club and I look forward to seeing him again this weekend.
