The City kit boss and former Latics star writes every week for Chron Sport
AS always, the game at Stoke was a difficult proposition for Manchester City and we had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
The point Yaya Toure salvaged with his late equaliser could prove to be crucial. It took us back to the summit of the Barclays Premier League for a short while, before United’s 1-0 win against Fulham.
Any clash with Stoke is physically demanding and this was no exception. Tony Pulis has got his side well drilled and you have to fight for every single ball.
There was nothing Joe Hart could do about Peter Crouch’s world class goal for the home team.
It came three days after a superb 2-1 home triumph over Chelsea.
I would like to pay a special tribute to our supporters. The fans never stopped singing even when we trailed the London club and our title aspirations looked in serious danger.
