SWIM star Ben Procter is counting down the days to the Great Britain selectors’ team announcement for the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
The 22 year old, from Diggle, achieved the 200 metres freestyle qualifying time in clinching a silver medal at the British Gas British Championships.
Ben, who trains at the High Performance Centre in Manchester, was competing in the S14 section (learning difficulties).
The GB swimming line-up is announced in April, and he has a great chance of being chosen for the Games, which get under way at the end of August. He recorded the second-fastest time in the world this year for the 200m free in the heats at the British Championships in London.
