FOOTBALL:
REDS boss Sir Alex Ferguson has warned Patrick Vieira that Manchester City will get nothing for playing the best football in the first part of the season.
City's football development executive Vieira claimed Roberto Mancini's side deserve to pip Manchester United to the Premier League title.
But Ferguson, whose side are away to Blackburn on Monday night, said: "They were playing great football in the first half of the season. Everyone recognised that and we felt the brunt of it when they beat us 6–1 here. But a season lasts for a bit longer than three months."
