Tevez glad to be back in the swing

MANCHESTER City striker Carlos Tevez thanked manager Roberto Mancini for keeping faith with him and warned Manchester United the title race is far from over.
It came after he hit a hat–trick in the 6–1 win at Norwich. Sergio Aguero struck twice and Adam Johnson netted, with Andrew Surman on target for the hosts.
Tevez went AWOL for three months after a spat with Mancini but the pair have now made up. Tevez started his second straight Barclays Premier League game for the first time in 11 months and he rewarded his manager with a fine display of deadly finishing.
The striker smacked home a 20–yard swirling shot in the first half before adding a header and a cool finish after seizing on a mix–up in the Norwich defence to cut United's lead to two points ahead of their match against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Mancini, perhaps taking a leaf out of United manager Sir Alex Ferguson's textbook on mind games, claimed again that the title race is "finished", but Tevez thinks otherwise.
"Of course we can still win the title," Tevez said. "Obviously we have to put pressure on United.
"I am very happy that I played well but the most important thing is that I want to say thank you to my colleagues for all the support they have given me since I arrived," he said.
