MANCHESTER City produced an awesome display at Norwich, running out 6-1 winners at Carrow Road.

It temporarily reduced the gap between ourselves and leaders United to two points, until the Red Devils defeated Aston Villa 4-0 at Old Trafford.

We are still relying on Sir Alex Ferguson’s side slipping up between now and the end of the season, and we must win all four of our matches.

It was great to see Carlos Tevez operating at almost full capacity again.

He has regained much of the match fitness he was lacking and struck a superb hat-trick against Norwich.

Some of the link-up play with countryman Sergio Aguero was brilliant at times and schemers David Silva and Samir Nasri seem to love playing with Carlos.

And having Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott back from injury at the heart of the defence has given us a more solid look. Next up is a trip to relegation-haunted Wolves on Sunday.

Unless there is a major upset, you would expect us to come away with three points but we will treat Terry Connor’s men with the same respect as everyone else in the Barclays Premier League.

We have to make sure we replicate the form we showed in the last two fixtures, when we defeated West Brom 4-0 and smashed six past the Canaries.

That game is 24 hours after United entertain Everton, so obviously City supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed that David Moyes’ men can take something from the match.
