Scholes set for Reds swansong

FOOTBALL:

SIR Alex Ferguson expects next season to be Paul Scholes' last at Manchester United after the midfielder confirmed he would play on.

The Red Devils chief confirmed last night that Scholes had agreed a new one–year

contract. Ferguson said: "I think this will be Paul's last season. We know him very well. We have had him since he was a kid and we know how to use him.”
