Blues striker talks

EMMANUEL Adebayor has revealed talks are being held with Tottenham over making his loan move from Manchester City a permanent deal.
Adebayor, a former Arsenal striker, has scored 18 goals in 37 games for Spurs since he moved to White Hart Lane on loan, helping the club to finish in the top four of the Barclays Premier League.
But rather than return to champions City the Togo striker has revealed to fans that he wants to stay in north London.
He wrote on Twitter: "Loved my spell at Tottenham, we are working hard with the chairman to make it permanent. Will keep you informed!!"
With Spurs missing out on Champions League football next season after Chelsea won the trophy with victory over Bayern Munuch in Germany on Saturday the news will be welcomed by manager Harry Redknapp as he gears up for a Europa League campaign once again next season.
Adebayor moved to Arsenal from Monaco in 2006 before joining City and also spent time on loan at Real Madrid.
But when the Spanish club opted not to sign him Adebayor agreed his loan move to White Hart Lane.
