LUKE Procter . . . five-wicket haul.
LUKE Procter's first five–wicket haul gave Lancashire the edge over Durham on day one of the clash between the LV= County Championship Division One strugglers at Chester–le–Street.
Former Royton professional Procter's five for 17 was complemented by another familiar face as Kyle Hogg, from Greenfield, took three scalps in six balls.
The duo went a long way to ensuring Durham crumpled to 102 all out after they were put in to bat.
Both also made runs to help opener Paul Horton, who top–scored with 31 not out. Lancashire will resume on 141 for eight.
Procter contributed 18 to a stand of 44 after Graham Onions had taken all the wickets in reducing Lancashire to 19 for four.
Hogg was on 23 not out after sharing an unbroken partnership of 32 with Horton.
Procter bowled some big in–swingers, including the one which bowled Harrison, but made one hold its line to have Paul Collingwood lbw for the top score of 25.
