Joe finds it tough going

JOE O'Regan (blue cap) battles for the ball in the water polo preliminary Group ‘B’ match against Romania.
Royton's Joe O'Regan did not have a successful first Olympics appearance.
He was in the Great Britain water polo outfit which lost 13-4 to Romania.
Team GB knew their opponents posed a significant threat, having lost 17-7 to them in a Dublin Cup warm-up.
This time O'Regan went close to getting on the scoresheet in the first half, only to see his effort palmed around the post.
Captain Craig Figes converted a penalty to keep Britain within a goal at 2-1 down, but Romania pulled away.
Rob Parker netted a double for Britain and Jack Waller was also on target. Unfortunately, they proved to be consolations.
Britain will aim to bounce back against Serbia - one of the Group 'B' favourites - tomorrow (6.20pm).
