PARALYMPIC GAMES:
SASCHA Kindred failed to qualify for the final of the 50 metres S6 freestyle last night in the London 2012 Paralympics.
Former Limeside resident Kindred, who has cerebral palsy and was educated in Oldham, was 10th fastest in the heats.
After earning silver medal in 200m SM6 individual medley earlier this week, Kindred has one more shot at glory on Friday in 50m S6 butterfly.
