Sinfield gets Parliamentary approval

KEVIN Sinfield’s appointment as England Rugby League captain has received the support of Members of Parliament after a motion was tabled in the House of Commons.
The motion, tabled by Leeds North West MP and Parliamentary Rugby League Group Chairman Greg Mulholland, congratulates Oldhamer Sinfield on being named captain of England and acknowledges his successes as skipper of Leeds Rhinos.
Mulholland said: “Kevin has demonstrated fantastic leadership at Leeds Rhinos.
“I am confident that he will be able to transfer those skills to the field whenever he leads out the England squad.”
