Micah upbeat after operation

MANCHESTER City defender Micah Richards remains upbeat despite being ruled out of action for up to four months.
The full-back has had an operation on a torn meniscus in his right knee and is on crutches.
He was stretchered off in agony during the champions’ hard-fought 1-0 victory at the expense of Swansea at the Etihad Stadium.
“The positive thing is that the injury has been repaired so the knee will be as good as new,” Richards told the club’s website.
“I suppose it could have been even worse and not repairable which would have meant removing the meniscus, so I am being positive.”
