Wenger calls for Van truce

MANAGER Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal fans not to abuse the club’s former captain Robin van Persie at Manchester United tomorrow.
The Gunners come up against the Dutchman for the first time since his £24million summer transfer.
Wenger believes goading Van Persie from the terraces would serve no purpose.
He said: "I hope the reception is a respectful one because he has played for us for eight years, and he has done very well for us.
"We campaign against discrimination, it was still the case last week so why should it not be the case this week?"
MANCHESTER City boss Roberto Mancini claims to have taken no notice of his recent critics.
The Italian came in for some heavy media flak last week after a loss to Ajax in Amsterdam left City needing a "miracle" – in Mancini's own words – to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.
City failed to get out of their group in their maiden Champions League campaign last year, and their latest attempt has been another underwhelming one with just one point from the first three games leaving them on the brink.
As he prepared City for tomorrow’s teatime match at West Ham, Mancini said: "I don't read the newspapers. I know my job and I know when I make a mistake or do the right things.”
Micah Richards, Maicon and Jack Rodwell all miss out due to injury.
