United defend cup ticket prices

Manchester United have defended their ticket prices ahead of this weekend's FA Cup fourth–round tie against Fulham at home.
The London club complained to the Football Association after discovering that some United fans have been able to buy seats of equivalent position £5 cheaper than their own supporters.
The clubs had agreed a standard £45 for home and away fans but United members have been able to buy at £40. United says the offer is available only to members under a longstanding scheme.
Fulham claim they weren’t told about the discount, and wouldn’t have agreed to it.
A United spokesman said: "A discount scheme has existed for members for around 20 years. We're surprised it has come as a surprise to them."
The FA has written to United for a formal explanation. Fulham have set a price of £49 for adult away fans when they host United in the league on February 2.
