Carrick heaps praise on United forwards
Date published: 01 February 2013
MICHAEL Carrick believes Manchester United's impressive array of goalscorers makes them a clear and present danger among the league’s elite.
After stretching their lead at the top to seven points on Wednesday, United head to Fulham tomorrow hoping to widen the gap on City even further, who play Liverpool on Sunday.
Wayne Rooney has taken his tally to nine goals in nine games; Robin van Persie has already broken the 20–goal barrier, Javier Hernandez is closing in on it fast and Danny Welbeck is making a valuable contribution.
"It is good to have your strikers banging the goals in," he said. "It means we are providing a constant threat."
