No time for us to feel sorry for ourselves

AFTER looking so comfortable and dominating the first half, it was naturally disappointing for Manchester City to lose 3-1 at Tottenham.
We took an early lead through Samir Nasri and took control of the contest. But Spurs made some changes after the break and improved significantly.
Three goals in quick succession killed us off. There was no way back after Gareth Bale's strike.
With the title back at Old Trafford, all we can do - as big a cliche as it sounds - is take each remaining fixture as it comes and try to win as many as possible before the FA Cup final against Wigan on May 11.
It is down to us to remain professional and continue to give everything for the cause.
Next we face my old Preston teammate, Sam Allardyce, and his West Ham side.
Big Sam has done a good job with the Hammers without spending much money; some shrewd purchases have taken them to safety.
You know you are in safe hands when Sam is in charge. Blackburn were mid-table in the Premier League when he was relieved of his duties. They wouldn’t have dropped a division with him at the helm.
