Kyle Eastmond: the Bath centre is preparing for a summer tour with England.
Rugby Union:
Former Oldham St Anne’s junior Kyle Eastmond has been named in England’s squad for the tour to South America this summer.
Coach Stuart Lancaster will run the rule over Eastmond, who has enjoyed an impressive season at Bath, and other young hopefuls in two Tests against Argentina and a match in Uruguay.
The 23 year old has made a rapid rise up the rugby union ladder following his cross-code switch from St Helens in November, 2011.
Eastmond, a former pupil at Radclyffe School, started the season on the wing at Bath.
England kick off their summer matches against the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday, May 26.
