We have to be on our game

THE onus is on Manchester City to produce a thoroughly professional performance against Wigan in
tomorrow’s FA Cup final.
We go into the game as favourites – there’s no getting away from that – but underdogs have come away from the home of football victorious in the past. It is no secret Wigan are a very capable side on their day.
Roberto Martinez’s men are deep in relegation trouble, but they play some very good football and are bound to be a threat. They created plenty of chances in their recent visit to the Etihad Stadium, where we edged a 1-0 win.
Finals are a funny thing and you can never truly call the outcome. It is down to us to offer the same performance we demonstrated in the semi-final triumph over Chelsea last month. If we do, it would be tough for anyone to cope with us.
It is great to get back to Wembley for a final, having been there in 2011 when we saw off Stoke City. The fans will be desperate for us to reclaim the famous old cup.
