CRICKET: LUKE Procter resumed on 62 as Lancashire looked to build a substantial lead on day three of their top–of–the–table LV= County Championship Division Two clash against Northamptonshire at Wantage Road.
The former Royton professional brought up his half-century off 107 deliveries to help the Red Rose county to a 262 for four at the close. Simon Katich was unbeaten on 114, with the pair sharing a stand of 116.
Earlier, Greenfield’s Kyle Hogg claimed four for 65 as Northants were dismissed for 310 in their first innings. Katich’s fellow Aussie, Cameron White, made 90.
