Fabregas remains United target

MANCHESTER United manager David Moyes is willing to walk away from his attempt to sign Cesc Fabregas — but not yet.
Having confirmed a second United bid for the former Arsenal midfielder, it is believed Moyes would consider a third attempt if Barcelona show no inclination to sell.
Speculation is rife that the bid could rise to a club record £37million - easily outgunning the £30.75 million paid for Dimitar Berbatov in 2008.
Given encouragement to believe Fabregas is open to returning to the Premier League, Moyes isn’t giving up.
“I think a point does come,” said the Scot. “But when you are interested in good players you want to give it every opportunity to materialise.”
