Goal-crazy City target record

YAYA Toure is targeting Chelsea’s record Premier League goals haul of 103 - and has revealed that Manchester City's 6–0 thrashing of Tottenham on Sunday was inspired by boss Manuel Pellegrini’s pre–match team talk.
City’s biggest-ever win over Spurs means they have now scored 24 goals in six home fixtures this season.
The overall tally stands at 34, which has them on track to eclipse Chelsea’s 2009-10 total - not bad for a team that has won away only once this season.
“The manager’s speech before the game was unbelievable,” said Toure. “It is always difficult when you lose a game like we did at Sunderland. It is hard for the players. But we have come together as a team because we want to regain the league title.”
Goals will not be a problem if Sergio Aguero maintains his form. The Argentinian star is top of the scoring charts with 10, while strike partner Alvaro Negredo has taken six.
“We have the strikers. The two guys up front are unbelievable,” said Toure.
City host Viktoria Plzen tomorrow having already qualified for the Champions League last 16.
