City skipper happy to take the draw

MANCHESTER City captain Vincent Kompany is not overly concerned by his side's poor away form, insisting the latest hiccup - a draw at Southampton - is actually a decent result for the side.
City have been so impressive at home since Manuel Pellegrini’s summer arrival, winning all seven of their matches at the Etihad Stadium and scoring 29 goals in the process.
But their form on the road is another matter. Southampton ended a three-match losing streak with a 1-1 draw - which means City have now failed to win six of their eight league matches on the road.
“I thought we started really well,” said the City captain.
“Afterwards I think Southampton were in the game and were actually in control of the game.
“In the end it was hard-fought for and I think any team could have won the game in the end.
“We will look at this and think that we did not get beaten and moving on it was a tough game so wasn’t a bad result.”
In truth, City were fortunate to avoid defeat on the south coast after a start in which it looked like they could run amok.
