Thunder in raid Down Under

MANCHESTER Thunder has picked up an emerging talent from Down Under.

Alix McDermott, the current New South Wales under-21s captain and Australia under-21s international, has signed for the ZEO National Superleague side for 2014.

At just under six feet, the goal attack or shooter offers Thunder plenty of versatility in the circle, particularly with her direct style of play.
