Moyes on trophy trail

MANCHESTER United are in Capital One Cup quarter–final action at Stoke tonight and boss David Moyes admits he is more than a little eager to mark his first season at United with a trophy – the first of his managerial career.
“I am desperate to get to Wembley,’ said Moyes. “I want to be seen as someone who has been successful and won trophies. It is something that has has eluded me so far but I am trying to make it happen and believe I am at the best club to do so.”
Moyes has revealed he has not fielded any requests to take Wilfried Zaha on loan – but admits the former Crystal Palace winger could be allowed to leave on a temporary basis if the circumstances are right. Zaha was Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing as United manager.
Tonight’s other remaining Capital One Cup last-eight tie sees managerless Tottenham host West Ham.
