Moyes slams Webb display

The denial of a penalty had Manchester United manager David Moyes fuming as the Reds fell 2-1 to Tottenham.
Referee Howard Webb didn’t consider Hugo Lloris’ challenge on Ashley Young at Old Trafford worthy of a spot-kick as Young sustained a nasty bang on the shoulder in tumbling while trying to avoid Lloris’s flying tackle. Because the England winger got his shot in first, referee Howard Webb took no action.
“If that isn’t given a penalty, I don’t think we will get any more in the league this season,” said Moyes.
“It is reckless, it is late, it is in the penalty box. I don’t know what else you can say.”
Moyes’ fury was compounded by Adnan Januzaj being booked for diving even though the challenge from Danny Rose, was a pretty firm one.
