Pressure on City, Mourinho insists

CHELSEA manager Jose Mourinho claims Manchester City will be the team with “everything to lose” when the Premier League giants clash in the fifth round of the FA Cup next month.

Mourinho welcomed the tough draw, which was made minutes after his side beat Stoke 1–0 at Stamford Bridge to reach the last 16.

Another highlight of the fifth round will be the Emirates Stadium tussle involving Arsenal and Liverpool, two teams who remain in with a shot at the league and FA Cup double.

Big–spending City are chasing a quadruple, having already reached the Capital One Cup final against Sunderland.

And while Mourinho recognises City’s obvious quality, the Portuguese boss has told his team to embrace the challenge. Chelsea will be able to prepare for the cup tie when they face City in Manchester on February 3, a fortnight before the cup match.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini admitted his side's defending was a “disaster” after they survived an FA Cup scare against Watford.

City recovered from 2–0 down to beat the Hornets 4–2 in their fourth–round tie at the Etihad Stadium thanks to a second–half Sergio Aguero hat–trick and a goalkeeping error.

Pellegrini was far from impressed with his side's attitude and defending. The Chilean said: "I was very worried. If you don't play with 100 per cent concentration and intensity you don't win the game.”
