City hot-shot could make Wembley final

SERGIO Aguero appears to be winning his battle to be fit for Sunday’s Capital One Cup Final.
The Manchester City striker has been sidelined for a month with a hamstring problem, but returned to full training earlier this week.
He has been given until tomorrow to prove his fitness and it is understood the Argentine star is making good progress.
Aguero has reportedly told friends he is desperate to face Sunderland and help Manuel Pellegrini’s men fight for their first major trophy of the season.
But he could still be left out of the starting line-up, even if declared fit.
Pellegrini’s men face a crucial Champions League second-leg showdown against Barcelona in the Nou Camp on March 12. Aguero will be crucial to the chance of producing a shock comeback from a 2-0 first-leg deficit. Pellegrini might be reluctant to risk him against the Black Cats.
