Moyes needs boost

THE last time Manchester United played West Brom at the Hawthorns, 10 goals were scored and legendary Reds boss Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
Tomorrow lunchtime’s Premier League encounter is unlikely to be quite so dramatic as that 5-5 thriller, but it is vital to the current manager. The pressure is on David Moyes to salvage something from a desperate first season.
United are staring down the barrel in the last 16 of the Champions League after losing 2-0 at Olympiacos in the first leg. So a top-four finish in the Premier League, albeit a fading dream at present, remains Moyes’ target. United can take a positive step toward that goal by winning in the Midlands tomorrow.
