Reds boss: Improbable is possible

DAVID Moyes wants his players to lift the dark clouds hanging over Manchester United by achieving an improbable comeback against Olympiacos tonight.
Moyes’ critics came out in force again on Sunday when United lost 3-0 to Liverpool. Those critics will be given more ammunition if Moyes’ men put on a limp display on a par with that which came two and a half weeks ago in Athens. There United gifted Olympiacos a 2-0 advantage with an inept display.
Only five teams have overcome a deficit of two goals or more in the 22-year history of the Champions League, but Moyes isn’t throwing in the towel.
“If we can go through it would be a massive lift for us,” the United boss said.
“We know we have got ourselves in a poor position, but we have a lot of belief and we have to make it show in the game.”
United will be without Juan Mata, who is cup-tied. Defenders Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans are out throuugh injury.
