ANOTHER three points and another four goals against Southampton means the destiny of the Premier League title remains in our hands.
It’s all set up beautifully for the game at Liverpool on Sunday though. I’d say City are still just favourites to win the league. We can probably afford to draw there and still be okay.
It’s going to be far from easy: Liverpool have true world class players, particularly Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
They are going to take some stopping. Liverpool have won nine on the spin now so they are on a hell of a roll.
It’s going to be a cracker, but it looks like City will be boosted by the return of Sergio Aguero.
Whether he’ll be fit enough to start the game remains to be seen, but even on the bench he will give everyone around him a lift. Liverpool will have to be on their guard if Sergio plays.
I enjoyed my appearance on last week’s ITV documentary “Inside Manchester City”. I’ve done a few things like that for the telly down the years, and this was a fair look at some of the things that go on behind the scenes at the Etihad Stadium.
I think viewers got a good feel for how hectic it can be at City. There’s so much going on!
