Van Gaal would ‘love’ United job
Date published: 08 May 2014
LOUIS van Gaal has admitted that he would love to be manager of Manchester United.
But the Holland coach insists no deal has yet been done to take him to Old Trafford.
It is understood the club isn’t planning an announcement until next week, with Van Gaal confirming his desire to be given the job last night.
Van Gaal, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach, is leaving his current role at the end of this
summer’s tournament in Brazil and had apparently indicated that he wanted his future sorted before his first training camp began.
But the 62 year old, who was strongly linked with Tottenham earlier in the summer, denied any deal had already been agreed and said he had other options.
