Balotelli could start City game

MARIO Balotelli could play against his former club Manchester City on Monday as Liverpool move closer to signing the controversial striker.
Growing reports have suggested the Anfield club is in talks with the mercurial 24-year-old after agreeing a £16million fee with AC Milan.
Liverpool bosses haven’t commented, but it is understood the Reds' interest in the player is serious.
Adding credence was a comment from Balotelli stating that yesterday would be his last day at AC Milan training ground.
Balotelli is a proven performer and scored 16 times for Milan last season. But his spell at City from summer 2010 to January 2013 was a whirlwind one, with sparkling performances interspersed with volatility and erratic behaviour off the field.
