Stev sinks Reds

MANCHESTER City manager Manuel Pellegrini insists he needs four fully–fit strikers for his side to successfully defend their Premier League title.
Stevan Jovetic, the forward dogged by injury last season, scored twice in the 3–1 victory over Liverpool.
Substitute Sergio Aguero added the third before Pablo Zabaleta’s late own-goal.
Pellegrini currently has to choose two from three – Edin Dzeko is his other fit striker, with Alvaro Negredo out with a broken foot. But the Chilean believes he needs everyone at his disposal.
One of City’s summer signings, defender Eliaquim Mangala, is still waiting to make his debut
following his move from Porto, but Pellegrini does not think it will be long before he is up to speed.
“We will see during the next week,” he added.
“It is not just him. Pablo (Zabaleta) needed some minutes. A lot of other players arrived after the World Cup and we will see how we can do it so they can be 100 per cent fit.”
