MANCHESTER Thunder will welcome Superleague and national teams to the Thunderdome for the annual Mike Greenwood Trophy tournament.
Thunder will compete against Wales and Scotland, with Superleague’s Yorkshire Jets, Team Northumbria and Loughborough Lightning also taking part in the event on November 29.
In its third year, the event was named in honour of Black and Yellows former coach Mike Greenwood, who passed away in 2011.
Wales and Scotland will be looking to get some court time following mixed performances at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Teams see the tournament as a vital part in their pre-season preparations for the the Superleague season, which gets under way in January.
Thunder have triumphed in the previous two contests, which were also held at the Thunderdome in Gorton.
