City’s confidence is back – Fernandinho

MANCHESTER City go into tomorrow’s home league game against struggling Hull City in high spirits following last weekend’s 1-1 draw at leaders Chelsea.
David Silva’s equaliser earned City a share of the spoils and midfielder Fernandinho said: “We wanted to win the game to close the gap, but the most important thing was that it was our best performance for a while. We are feeling confident again.”
City must cope once again without midfield lynchpin Yaya Toure and recently-signed striker Wilfried Bony. Both were in the Ivory Coast team which reached the final of the Africa Cup Of Nations with a 3-1 defeat of Congo.
