HOCKEY:
OLDHAM star Nicola White was in terrific form for Great Britian as they defeated Spain in a keenly-contested Tri-Series in Valencia.
White, who plays for Holcombe in the Women’s Hockey League Premier Division, featured in all three games as Team GB won 2-0 and 1-0, and drew 1-1.
GB Head Coach Danny Kerry said: “It’s great to only concede one goal across 180 minutes of hockey.”
The next major tournament for Team GB is the EuroHockey Championships, which take place on home turf in August.
