Thunder cruise ahead

MANCHESTER Thunder cruised to a 77-34 win over rock-bottom Team Northumbria in their last home game of the regular Superleague season at a sold-out Thunderdome.

The Black and Yellows head to Loughborough on Saturday for the final round of the league campaign, after which they will build up to their huge semi-final date at Manchester Arena, against either Yorkshire Jets or Hertfordshire Mavericks on April 18.
