DAVID DUNN: no longer interim...
DAVID Dunn has been named Athletic’s permanent new manager.
Dunn (35) had been working as interim boss for the last four games, following the sacking of previous manager Darren Kelly.
Dunn has impressed the club board amid a run of four draws, both for his contacts within the game and his overall approach.
“Everyone at the club has been very impressed with the way David has gone about business since taking over the reins,” chairman Simon Corney said.
“His dedication, hard work and exacting standards have already had a positive effect on the club and the way he has approached the role has made it impossible for us not to give him his chance.”
Dunn becomes Athletic’s 10th non-caretaker manager in the past decade.
