Rooney doubt for United

AFTER missing the opportunity to go top of the Barclays Premier League table last week when they drew at Leicester, Manchester United will want to maintain an unbeaten home record in the league against West Ham tomorrow.
Having conceded only one goal at Old Trafford this season, the Reds’ well-drilled defence will be aiming for another clean sheet against the Hammers.
Louis van Gaal’s side are third in the table, a point off the top. Though goals have been hard to find in recent weeks, the draw at Leicester extended United’s unbeaten league run to six games.
Reds trio Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera are all doubtful, while Wayne Rooney came off during the second half at Leicester after picking up a knock.
Marouane Fellaini is back in contention after playing 90 minutes and impressing for the Reds’ under-21s team in midweek. Marcos Rojo has dislocated a shoulder and has been ruled out, while Antonio Valencia has a foot injury.
