Canaries in mood to test stretched City

THE man who in his own words did “a Yaya Toure”, will come face to face with the Manchester City superstar in the FA Cup third round at Carrow Road tomorrow.
Norwich midfielder Alex Tettey scored the only goal of the game as the Canaries beat Southampton 1-0 at home in their most recent Barclays Premier League fixture. Thesuperb strike was reminiscent of City midfielder Toure’s magnificent goal in the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal last month.
Norwich’s latest win was their second in succession, lifting them six points clear of the Premier League drop zone.
It also underlined that the Canaries – who won 2-1 at Manchester United recently – are in good form for the visit of a City outfit reeling from a 2-1 Capital One Cup semi-final first-leg loss at Everton.
To make matters worse for the visitors, City have a defensive crisis, with skipper Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala injured.
