Pereira kicking his heels

MANCHESTER United midfielder Andreas Pereira is frustrated at his limited amount of first–team playing time.
The 20 year old scored in the Capital One Cup earlier this season in his maiden start for United. But the player has made the first XI only one other time, also in the League Cup, in seven senior appearances.
He says it is a “great dream” of his to represent Brazil at the Olympics this summer and, with that in mind, he has no doubt he needs to get more game time – whether for United or on loan.
Pereira said of conversations with United boss Louis van Gaal: “He has asked me to continue working and says the opportunity will come. I’m focused and doing my best.”
Leicester, Malaga and PSV Eindhoven are all reportedly interested in Pereira.
“I don’t know if United want to loan me out, but I’m working hard to get more opportunities,” he said.
United host Southampton in the Barclays Premier League tomorrow, clearly hoping to continue their impressive start to 2016.
