Nasri hands City a big Cherries tonic

MANCHESTER City have been handed a welcome tonic for tomorrow’s Premier League showdown at Bournemouth.
Samir Nasri, sidelined for six months after tearing a muscle in training, is expected to make his comeback against the Cherries. The Frenchman has been sorely missed, with City’s push to regain their crown faltering in recent weeks.
Nasri’s return from injury will come too late to rekindle his club’s title hopes this season, but it is a timely boost for City’s bid to secure Champions League qualification.
The Cherries have proved a force to be reckoned with in their first season in the top flight.
Nasri added: “I have a lot of respect for Bournemouth,” he said.
