SCOTT Naylor's Oldham RL side secured their Kingstone Press Championship status with a narrow win at home to Whitehaven.
The Roughyeds' victory at Bower Fold condemned 'Haven to the drop before the final round of matches in the Shield competition next weekend.
Phil Joy, Liam Thompson and Adam Clay went in for Oldham, who led 14-16 at the break. Skipper Lewis Palfrey kicked four goals.
Ugo Perez, Liam Carberry and James Newton touched down for 'Haven, with Ed Chamberlain adding the extras.
