A TALK on architectural history awaits members of the Crompton Local History Society at Crompton Library from 7.30pm next Thursday. Admission is £1.

A CHILDREN in Need concert is being held on Saturday at Shaw United Reformed Church. Tickets £6 including supper.


PEOPLE who want to have a say on the proposed closure of Shaw pool can pick up a form from the pool until Sunday.


BLOOD donors are required for sessions at St Paul's Parish Centre between 1.15pm-3.30pm and 5.15pm and 7.30pm on Friday, November 25.
