CHRISTMAS tree recycling is taking place at Royton Park from Wednesday, December 28, until Friday, January 13, 2012.
UNDER-FIVES can enjoy story and rhyme time at Crompton Library from 9.45am-10.45am tomorrow.
ST PAUL’S Church in Rochdale Road, Shaw, is holding a holy communion at 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and a family celebration service on Christmas Day from 11am.
EXPECT carols and audience participation at Shaw’s Playhouse2 stage show of A Victorian Christmas, from 8pm tonight. Tickets are £10.
CROMPTON and Royton libraries are closed from 1pm on Christmas Eve and re-open on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
EUCHARIST services at St Ann’s Church in Royton, take place at 4, 5 and 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and at 8.30 and 10am on Christmas Day.
LIVE music and free food is on offer at Royton Cricket Club’s New Year’s Eve party from 8pm. Tickets, priced £10 for adults and £5 for children, are available behind the bar.
A TALK entitled “Waterloo and Peterloo” can be enjoyed at Royton Local History Society’s meeting at 7.30pm on Monday, January 9, 2012, at Downey House.
