ST Aidan and Oswald Pre-School, Royton, has achieved an outstanding rating in its latest Ofsted report.
Staff were said to be enthusiastic and committed, with children making excellent progress in their development.
COUNCILLOR Steve Bashforth has volunteered to get into a custard-filled bath in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice on February 12, at the Dog & Partridge pub in Middleton Road, Royton.
JOIN in fun rhyme and story time for the under 5s at Crompton Library, between 9.45 and 10.45am tomorrow.
A SOUL night at Royton Band Club, from 8pm on January 28, is raising money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice. Admission is £5.
SHAW Comrades Crown Green Bowling Club’s annual meeting takes place at 8pm on Monday.
A CHARITY night in aid of research into multiple sclerosis and Leukodystrophies, with live music, takes place at Royton Band Club from 7.30pm on February 4. Admission is £5 and includes hot food.
ROYTON South District Partnership and Royton south councillors Steve Bashforth and Phil Harrison have agreed to donate £3000 from their budgets for tree lights and a new permanent 240v supply at Bullcote Park, near to the Christmas tree manhole.
